June 1st 2023: The Unified Patent Court (UPC) opens its doors for business
June 1st 2023: The Unified Patent Court (UPC) opens its doors for business. The Court shall have exclusive competence to adjudicate on infringement and revocation disputes relating to European patents (unitary patents and non-opted out classic European patents) and any SPCs based on said patents, for those States that have ratified the UPC Agreement. The Unitary Patent system also starts today.
