Sophie ROUSSEL is a European and French Trademark and Design Attorney.

Beginning her career in IP in 1988, Sophie went on to practise at various IP firms and in industry. She has also worked at the Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle-INPI [French National Industrial Property Institute, i.e. Patent & Trademark Office] – opposition and examination departments. She joined Beau de Loménie, Paris Office in 2005.

Specialising in the practice areas of trademarks, designs, copyright and domain names, Sophie’s expertise covers the obtaining, exploitation and protection of IP rights. Her professional involvement extends from follow-up and support activities for pre-litigation and litigation proceedings to portfolio audits. She provides support to French and foreign companies of all sizes, from all industrial sectors, in their efforts aimed at protecting, securing and optimising their IP assets.

In addition, Sophie is involved in teaching trademark law. She intervenes in the context of training programmes in trademarks offered by the INPI.
