Francis DECLERCQ is a lawyer specialising in IP law.
His career in IP began in 1987 within a major public sector group dedicated to the field of health and medical research (Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris), where he established and developed the intellectual property and biomedical research office. From 2001, he practised as an attorney at law at an international business law firm (Baker McKenzie), becoming involved in all aspects of applied IP, in particular, in the fields of health and pharmaceutical products. He joined Beau de Loménie in 2006.
Francis advises clients and engineers of Beau de Loménie in all areas of patent law and know-how, including in particular employee inventions. He also assists Beau de Loménie clients in the preparation of all contractual documents relating to IP and optimisation of value thereof.
In addition, Francis has been Associate Lecturer at Paris XIII University (1999-2000 – Business Law and IP).
He is a member of the Association des Praticiens Européens des Brevets-APEB.
