Erwan HEALY is a European and French Patent Attorney in the “Material Technology, Instruments and Electrotechnics” department of Beau de Loménie.

Erwan started his IP career in 2005 in Fundamental Physics research at the Paris’ Nanosciences Institute (ion-matter interactions). Then, he worked in a leading Parisian IP firm as a patent engineer from 2007 to 2015 before joining Beau de Loménie.

Erwan HEALY assists French and Foreign companies from the aeronautics and electronics sectors in obtaining, enforcing and defending their IP rights. He also carries out freedom-to-operate studies and is involved in the follow-up to pre-litigation and litigation proceedings. He has extensive experience of EPO proceedings (examination and oral proceedings) and EPO appeals.

Erwan is also very involved in teaching patent law. As part of the EQE training courses given by the CEIPI, he has been involved as a tutor for the French candidates in the intensive course of test D1 since 2016 and for the English candidates in the methodology course of test D since 2018.
