Beau de Loménie is continuing its development with 4 new offices in France and Switzerland. Its solid European network of 11 branches in 4 countries (France, Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland) confirms BDL’s position as one of the IP leaders in Europe.
From East to West, BDL expands its network and gets closer to its local clients
Beau de Loménie is strengthening its regional network in France with new offices opening in Nantes, Rennes and Strasbourg. The firm is thus confirming its desire to be close to its clients in the regions where French innovation is to be found in cutting-edge industrial fields.
François DELUMEAU, partner in the NTIC department, comments: “Beau de Loménie’s ties with Bretagne and Pays-de-Loire regions are strong, as patent attorneys from these regions will support the development of our new offices, in particular Gaël ESCATS in Nantes, Anne HUCHET and Jean-Marie LE YAOUANC, both experts in new technologies, and Florence MULLER in Rennes.”
Didier INTES, partner of the mechanical department and professor at CEIPI, adds: “We are delighted by the opening of the Strasbourg office, an important city for our profession where many BDL experts participate each year in the training of new generations of patent attorneys at CEIPI. Geneva: a 4th European office for BDL
Beau de Loménie is taking hold in Switzerland, a land of innovation at the global level for many years. The Geneva office reinforces BDL’s European network of offices in Germany, with Munich and Duisburg (opened in 1996 and 2005 respectively), and in the UK with Birmingham (opened in 2010).
Pierre BALESTA, partner and director of the Lille branch office, highlights: “The Geneva office will allow BDL to accompany its clients more efficiently in their IP protection and development strategies in Switzerland and to ensure their direct representation before the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.”

The new offices will benefit from the expertise of the 70 attorneys and lawyers spread across all BDL sites, as well as the support of the central IP departments and specialized teams (Japanese, Chinese and American teams).
